I’m not a grandmaster. I’m a regular player on chess.com who got tired of playing every day and staying at the same rating. Puzzles didn’t transfer. Engine analysis showed me lines without ever explaining anything. Every piece of advice was generic.
So I built the coach I couldn’t find: one that reads my games, tells me exactly what’s leaking rating, explains it like a human, and turns my own blunders into training. Then I made it free for everyone.

Why RookMentor is free
Because the diagnosis shouldn’t be a luxury. Chess improvement tools either drill everyone the same or hide the useful parts behind subscriptions. The analysis here runs in your own browser, on your own public games — so it costs almost nothing to give away, and I’d rather have a million improving players than a paywall.
